Known colloquially as MACBA, this interesting building was built as part of a redevelopment plan for a depressed quarter of the city. Replacing a monestary, the museum is a sharp breath of white through a dark neighborhood. Sunlight flowing in on the white surfaces inside the building creates a serene space outside the various exibition spaces. Beautiful.
