The site is currently hosted by pair networks on the FreeBSD machine akket.pair.com. From March 1997 through September 1998 this site existed on the server nmc.edu. September 1998 through December 2000, on personal-engin.umich.edu. The domain name masck.com was registered through Network Solutions, in December 2000, along with the change to pair networks. The domain registrar was changed to PairNIC (because Network Solutions sucks) in November of 2005 when it came up for renewal.

Sometimes, weblogging is provided by pitas.com. The service allows almost unlimited editability, allowing for seamless integration with the main site. I reccomend it highly.

This version of the site was created using a titanium Macintosh Powerbook G4 running MacOS X 10.4.3 (Tiger). HTML was hand coded, with the assistance of PageSpinner 4. Graphics were created in a variety of ways, including Macromedia Fireworks MX, and Graphic Converter v4. The site was based in Firefox 1.5 (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5), and checked with Safari. It probably looks terrible in Internet Explorer, I have no idea. The CSS code was handwritten.

The display font used throughout the site is P22 Typewriter. Also in use is Eaglefeather, created by Frank Lloyd Wright for an unrealized project in 1922. Both fonts were produced by the P22 Type Foundry. They are used as licensed. It is not covered under this site's CC license. I also use my own Subway Mosaic Photo-Font.
